Top 10 Things You Can Only Do in Denver
Every city has a few claims to fame but few cities have the truly original fare that Denver, Colorado offers its residents and visitors. From prized restaurants to interesting extrusions, check out these top 10 things to do in the city of Denver:

Top Places to Go
1. Visit Buffalo Bill’s Museum & Grave. Along with offering great snack shop, Buffalo Bill’s Grave & Museum gives its visitors a look at the man and the myths surrounding this great American adventurer.
2. Check out the Rocky Mountain National Park. Yes, 71 miles north of Denver but it’s the Rockies. You definitely can’t find these anywhere else.
3. Back country skiing. There aren’t too many places with completely untouched powder nearby. Not for the faint of heart of the inexperience, but for those who can, outings are available to get you where the powder remains undisturbed.

4. Catch a Rockies game at Coors field. Built in 1999, Coors field is still one of the most well designed fields in Major League Baseball. With a concession concourse that offering a 360 degree undisturbed view of the field at all times, you never have to miss a second when you get up to purchase a Coors beer.
5. Try the Mile Hi Skydiving Center. Sure other cities offer skydiving, but not few can offer skydiving in the same mountainous setting as skydiving in Denver. Since you’re already staring at a mile off the ground, you go up to 17,500 feet before you launch back towards the ground. Mile Hi Skydiving center is located in Longmont, CO.
6. Go to Buckhorn Exchange. Definitely one of the quirkiest of Denver restaurants, the Buckhorn Exchange has a variety of stuffed animals adorning its walls. Gives you the impression that you may be in a wild mountainous area. Warning: Definitely not an ideal venue for vegetarians.

7. Catch a show at The Grizzly Rose. This western themed music venue is pretty authentic as far as Saloon and Dance Emporiums go. Stop by any night of the week for some wild nightclub action, and then take a cab back to your Denver apartments doorstep.
8. Visit the Coors Brewery. Their slogan is Tap the Rockies so it’s no surprise that the Coors name makes the list twice. Visit the brewery and go on the self-guided tour that offers beer tasting and advanced education in the art of hops.

9. Shop at the Denver Pavilions. This big new attraction is located near convention center and offers a variety of outdoor shopping activities for those so inclined. Live entertainment is features nearly every night at various venues around the complex.
